Full Rules
Roller Disco is all about building, collecting and rebuilding bonus. Base bonus goes up to 20K; build it with all targets, top lanes, upper side lanes and upper flipper return lanes. Each of the A-B-C-D lanes lights a lane for bonus multiplier advance up to 5X: A and D light the left and right upper side lanes respectively; B and C light the left and right upper flipper return lanes respectively. The A and D lanes are linked in 3-ball play (not 5-ball); scoring either awards both. The four multiplier lanes score 15K once your multiplier is at 5X. Bonus can be collected in the top left saucer once base bonus is at 20K; otherwise, that saucer scores 5K. When collected, base bonus resets but your multiplier is preserved. Bonus and multiplier reset each ball.
Drop targets score 500, but once you complete either 5-bank, targets in that bank are worth 5K. The top A-B-C-D lanes are worth 6K each the first time scored, 3K after that.
The strategy to take, if you can, is to shoot the ball up top through the gates between the B and C lanes in order to get all the lanes lit for your multiplier. The shot can only be made from the upper flippers, but it’s a narrow gap, and you can’t get the ball cradled on those flippers. You should end up getting the multiplier up to 5X when balls coming back down from ABCD go through those upper side lanes.
You’ll have plenty of shots where you have no choice but to hit drop targets instead. Shots at those will rebound up top anyway and may go up a top lane or down a multiplier lane after banging around in the bumpers. Don’t mess with the two center stand-ups, though, both they and misses near them are risky.
When the ball is coming down the upper half of the outlanes, use the posts at the bottom to deflect it into the lower return lanes. Don’t over-nudge, though, or the ball will bounce back into the lower outlane.
Playfield Risk
Rebounds from all shots except the saucer go out of control. The right and left bumpers can slap balls down the middle or into the slingshots. The center bumper can slap balls down the side outlanes.
