soft plunge for the top center “light both 10X” lane; next best is for either side 50000 lane. Do not full plunge\!

Full Rules

While this uses the same playfield as Domino, the scoring is different enough that I list it separately. This was the add-a-ball version, Domino was the free game version.

On PlayMates, you never want to hit the roto-target\! It’s only worth 50 points regardless of what numbers show in the windows. The saucer values are now only 200, so the side stand-up 1 through 6 numbered targets now come into play since a lit one at 200 is worth the same as a saucer. You still should treat this as a UTAD game, but hitting a lit side target is fine if the rebound from that particular target tends to be safe.

To the tune of “All About That Bass”: “It’s all about the aces, ‘bout those aces, but they’re trouble.”

Shoot Aces until you’ve got all four, then shoot the center target. Doing this twice gives you double bonus. Besides, shooting the aces is the only way to build base bonus. Hitting the center target resets the ace drop targets, so if you hit it too soon, while you will build your base bonus, you’ll have to start over again to set up the double.

If you survive the rebounds from the ace shots long enough to max and double your bonus, shoot them again but don’t hit the center target anymore\! Now, shoot the ball up top to try to collect either of the side “X 10” rollover lanes when the ball comes back down; these are worth 50000 with all four ace drops down and the 10X lit.

While you can get the ball “up top enough” to get the “X 10” lanes on either middle side, the only way to go all the way to the top of the game is to shoot just right of the right-most Ace target.

Playfield Risk

Balls exiting the top just outside the Aces drop targets are the highest risk. Balls falling through the center lanes usually come to a flipper; balls through the side lanes usually fall into the return lanes below. All targets have rebound risk. Notice the unusual inward-facing rubbered triangles above the slingshots; these cause dangerous rebounds when hit.
