Fire Queen is the 2-player version of Vulcan.
Your first order of business is to fill out your bonus. Base is 19K, built by hitting drop targets. Bonus builds faster, though, if you’ve collected the five numbers first [1-4 via lanes, \#5 via a stand-up target], since each number lights one of the white drop targets to make it worth three advances instead of one. Once you have most of the numbers, start shooting the white drop targets. When you complete all five white targets, it doubles your bonus, too.
Okay, bonus built out and doubled, now what? The center green drop targets each raise the value of the saucer in the upper right by 1000; it’s worth 1000 to start, 5000 per saucer shot once you’ve completed the green targets. If you haven’t already finished them by accident, finish them now.
At this point, just go UTAD on the left orbit. You’ll get 1000 per red star rollover that registers on the way up, since they’ll now be lit, plus points for a lane up top, and then the ball will fall into the bumpers where it might bounce into the saucer.
Key feeds: balls rolling down the left orbit and balls rolling off the cushion behind the center drop target bank.
Playfield Risk
Rebounds off of the drop targets going out of control; watch out for balls rolling off the center wedge (behind the drop targets) that go out the right outlane, either directly or via the top of the slingshot mount, or off of the rubber on the right side to the center drain.
