Go-To Flipper

Balanced

Full Rules

Not a lot to do here but try to survive and get lucky. The biggest points on the game come from shooting either spinner and having the spinner STOP on the 500 value. Unlike all the other vertical spinners you’ve seen, this one does not award points-per-spin; it awards a single value, either 5, 50, or 500, whichever one is showing when the spinner stops. Because of that, luck will determine the winner of most games, i.e. whoever gets the spinner to stop on 500 the most. With the bumpers and slingshots being worth just 1 or 10 (unlit, lit) and the lanes and stand-up targets worth just 50, one stop-on-500 spin beats a whole lot of other pinball action.

If you’re in a “best game” qualifying event, stay away from this machine; while you might get lucky in just a few tries with a top score, you could also go 10 or more games and come up empty on all of them. If you’re in a playoff situation where you have choice of game and you need a game that gives you a fighting chance against possibly-better players, pick this. If you’re in a match play event and draw this game for your round . . . well, good luck\!

Playfield Risk

Exits from the bumpers that aren’t through the spinners are much riskier than ones that are. Balls falling through the upper side lanes and spinners are relatively safe unless they land on the bottom of the slingshots just above the flippers.
