Quickie Version
Spinner all day is one choice; the other is shooting the two captive balls to build up the bonus and shooting A-B-C-D to activate double bonus.

Full Rules
When you shoot the spinner, if you get decent point action in that center circle and at the end of it the ball drops out safely without draining most of the time, stick with the spinner. If not, try the bonus route. Bonus maxes at 15000, 30K with the doubler.
The arcs just centerward of the captive ball lanes each have a single star rollover in them worth 1000. Balls shot through them have a decent chane of going in the top saucer for an additional 3K. The catch is, they’re tight shots. If your aim is good, go ahead; if not or you’re not sure, avoid them.
Don’t bother to shoot at the gap just to the right of the spinner - - no guaranteed points and high risk of rebound drain.
Playfield Risk
The shots for the twin arcs between the center bumper area and the outer captive ball alcoves and the spinner are the only immediately safe shots, but if the feed when the ball comes back down is bad, you may be better off hitting the captive balls. The captive ball shots have (immediate) rebound risk. Everything depends on the speed and angle at which the ball comes down from the top by whichever means or how the rebounds go if you shoot the stand-up letter targets or captive balls.
